Tickets denounces a police tactic of issuing large numbers of fines for minor offences to the homeless. As a result, the homeless are “chased” out of public places, sometimes ending up in prison. Directed by Éric “Roach” Denis (Punk le vote: Roach en élection), himself a former homeless person who received numerous tickets, the documentary examines the social, financial and human costs of criminalizing Montreal's homeless.
