Valerie Shamash

Valerie Shamash (she/her) has worked on hundreds of Canadian documentary films. She has been a part of documentary production since 2001, when she spent 7 years as part of Productions Multi-Monde’s production team. She began Line Producing at Bunbury Films in 2008 and since 2013 when she joined the EyeSteelFilm team she shares her time overseeing (i.e. mainly damage control) documentary (and some fiction) productions with both Bunbury Films and EyeSteelFilm. Valerie has a Master's Degree in anthropology and is particularly interested in relaying the importance of appreciating cross-cultural differences.
